Martin Vale, Executive Director

Martin Vale joined Cedar Creek Senior Living as the Executive Director in November, 2011. Prior to joining the team, he was a General Manager at full service hotels where hospitality flowed. Martin’s attention to detail and warmth is felt through the entire community. He has passion, energy and enthusiasm for senior living which reflects in his daily operations of Cedar Creek Senior Living. The staff and residents admire Martin and appreciate his sense of humor and leadership. When Martin is not energizing Cedar Creek, he is walking with Susan, his fiancée, and their lab Joseph on Half Moon Bay Beach.


Maribel Ramirez, Business Office Director

Maribel Ramirez joined the staff at Cedar Creek Senior Living over twelve years ago. With over sixteen years’ experience in Human Resources and Administration, she is well versed in her position and a true professional. Maribel enjoys the residents and staff here at Cedar Creek Senior Living and especially is thankful for the sense of family that is present here every day. She looks forward to continuing to serve our residents and loved ones. Maribel enjoys spending time with her husband and adorable son on her off time.


Robin Smith, Director of Sales

Robin Smith is the Director of Sales and Marketing here at Cedar Creek Senior Living. She brings over two decades of experience in operations, sales and management and feels blessed to be a part of the Cedar Creek Senior Living family. Her background is well balanced with a mixture of hospitality, healthcare and senior living experience. Robin began her career working at an upscale hotel in Santa Barbara prior to relocating to the Central Valley, where she’s held positions as Director of Sales, Traveling Executive Director, and General Manager at Apria Healthcare, Holiday Retirement and Pacifica Senior Living. Robin looks forward to meeting potential residents and being able to help explain and navigate senior living options. She’s outgoing, loves to connect with people and brings a positive attitude to work with her every day! On her off time, she enjoys hiking, biking and visiting the coast.


Shawniee Jackson, Assisted Living Director

Shawniee Jackson has been with Cedar Creek Senior Living for eleven years. She is very dedicated and describes herself as an “obedient servant” who has a compassionate heart when it comes to people, especially our residents. Shawniee feels strongly that she “pay it forward” as our seniors and residents have paved the way for us. She has spent her life caring for people and started working in the healthcare industry at age eighteen. Her bright welcoming smile and eyes comfort all who come in contact with her as her first priority is keeping residents healthy, happy and living their best life. Her staff and the residents that she cares for describes her as outgoing, hardworking, a great leader and proudly compassionate.


Vivian Gonzalez, Memory Care Director

Vivian Gonzalez joined Cedar Creek Senior Living in 2009 as a Resident Assistant. With over 20 years’ experience in healthcare, she has firsthand knowledge of what her staff experiences every day. Vivian is a hands on leader who works side by side with her staff and residents to help fulfill our residents days with as much love, engagement and adventure as possible. Together, Vivian and her staff have assisted our residents through some of the hardest days of their life and has earned the trust of our families. Vivian understands that memory impairment is not a one size fits all and treats each resident as an unique and special individual. On her off time, Vivian enjoys the outdoors and family time!


Faviola Martinez, Recreation Director

Faviola Martinez has been with Cedar Creek Senior Living since August, 2015. She is passionate about motivating and engaging residents to be active and live their best life. She has received multiple awards and raises the bar each and every day. Faviola is a Madera native who enjoys exploring California with her partner, Zach who completes her family of five. She is a proud mother of two beautiful daughters and one amazing autistic son. Faviola brings energy and creativity to her position and residents and staff look forward to her events and activities.


Gregorio Torres, Culinary Service Director

Gregorio Torres brings over thirty five years of diversified experience in food service and production. His career started in the U.S. Army as a 94B “cook”, he then, apprenticed at the Fairmont Hotel in Downtown San Jose while studying at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley. Prior to joining Cedar Creek, he was the Chef at Levi’s Stadium. Cooking is Gregorio’s life and passion, and he looks forward to coming to work every day creating flavorful, healthy meals for our residents. He’s often seen walking around the dining room conversing with residents about their dining experience and sharing stories and getting to know the residents. Gregorio can be found spending time with his three dogs, three kids on his off time as well as golfing and fishing.


Jeff Hicks, Maintenance Director

Jeff Hicks joined the staff here at Cedar Creek Senior Living eleven years ago and has served as Maintenance Director. Jeff enjoys his daily interactions with the diverse Cedar Creek Senior Living community. Prior to joining the team, he worked at a skilled nursing facility which started his career in senior living. Jeff is responsible for keeping our community in working order by overseeing the proper operations of the property. When you visit the community, you will see what an outstanding job he has done with the building and grounds. He oversees housekeeping, as well as the maintenance staff. Jeff does an outstanding job at keeping our community safe, clean and comfortable. On his days off, Jeff can be found fishing and spending time with his three foster children and beautiful wife.
